About

I am a former teacher who started taking educational tours across Europe. I then moved on to professional tour management, escorting groups of all ages and backgrounds. As well as visiting the main attractions of Europe some groups had specialised itineraries which included visits to artistic villages, vineyards, isolated monasteries, military cemeteries and battlefields. Now I concentrate on London and the south of England.

I have always had a keen interest in history, I have always found it entertaining and informative.

I live here, I know the city and I can pass on this information to you as well as the history and culture. Understanding how the city works can really help you enjoy your own time.

I am a proud Londoner, I love London  and I really enjoy showing people around my home town.

What is a Blue Badge Guide?

A Blue Badge guide has undergone a 2 stage selection process, rigorous training and succeeded in passing 11 exams. The professionalism acquired is so well respected by discriminating tour operators and various institutions that we are the only external guides allowed to take visitors around St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London.  It is a symbol of knowledge, flexibility and excellence in guiding.

I am registered and certified by the Institute of Tourist Guiding, the Association of Professional Tourist Guides and the Guild of Tourist Guides.

Site Visits

London has dozens of fantastic attractions to visit. Some are quiet and cosy, others have incredible collections of objects and can be very busy.

If you do not have much time a quick highlights tour might be the answer.

If you wish to spend a few hours inside a particular place then we can really explore the treasures of the site.

Walking Tours

The best way to see a city is on foot. A chance to go to places that coach tours and cars cannot go. You can move at your own pace and stop whenever you want.

London has a fairly compact centre, it is possible to cover a lot of ground in one day. And if you need a break you are never very far away from a café or pub!
